The Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) have been created over a set of well Known Web technologies. The increasing use of Web Rich clients as RIAs requires the definition of development methodologies and categorization criteria to define standards for the developers and the industry. In this paper, the second problem is addressed with the proposal of a classification scheme using a Similitude function to determine a RIA class
