(en) This joint article presents the contributions of the fifth working group of the COST Action iCOn-MICs CA19119, focused on the role of comics in the field of teaching, learning and communication. To this end, the objectives and characteristics of this group are presented, accompanied by a reflection on the main activities carried out. Among them, the design and application process of the survey and the report on comics and education stands out, the creation of open access comics reading guides and the publication of a monograph on this binomial. Likewise, the impact of networking experiences, relationships with different institutions and entities of the members of this group, short-term scientific missions and mobility scholarships for the dissemination of research at conferences are analyzed. The work closes with a balanced assessment of the achievements and challenges throughout the project, emphasizing the transversal nature of a large part of the activities carried out and the benefits of strengthening the network of specialists around comics.
