Abstract
The farm to fork strategy, aimed at accelerating the transition to a sustainable food system, emphasizes a transition towards more plant-based diets. This transition, also called the protein transition, may however affect current livestock farmers. My name is Oceane, and I am currently a PhD student at UCLouvain. Today I’d like to share the results published in Frontiers in Sustainable food systems on the economic implications of a protein transition on Walloon beef and dairy farms.
