- Abstract
- (en) The configuration space of k points in a manifold M is F(M,k) = {(x1, ... , xk)∈ M^k |xi ≠ xj if i≠j}. In this work we studied the homotopical invariance of this construction. When k=2, we extend some known results about this invariance in the case of simply connected closed manifolds. We develop new techniques to study this spaces for manifolds with boundary. More generally, the results of this thesis allows us to study the rational homotopy type of complementary spaces in a manifold with boundary.
