Abstract
Background: In our allergologial unit, it seemed that among patients evaluated for a suspicion of hypersensitivity (HS) to iodinated con-trast media (ICM), most of them were oncologic patients (just diag-nosed or with finished/ongoing treatment). Repeated exposures to ICM were previously described as a risk fac-tor of HS to ICM and they are frequent in the oncologic population Moreover, antineoplasic treatments as risk factors of HS reactions to ICM have been the topic of some studies, without clear conclusions at this time.
