Abstract
Entretien avec Froma Zeitlin. Ewing Professor of Greek Language and Literature (émérite) à l’Université Princeton, Froma Zeitlin est spécialiste de littérature grecque ancienne. Elle s’est également intéressée aux études genres, ainsi qu’aux études juives auxquelles elle a contribué tant institutionnellement (en fondant un programme d’études juives à Princeton) que par ses publications. On lui doit notamment Under the Sign of the Shield: Semiotics and Aeschylus’ Seven against Thebes, Roma, Edizioni dell’Ateneo, 1982, et Playing the Other : Gender and Society in Classical Greek Literature, Chicago, University of Chicago Press, 1996, ainsi que la direction (avec John J. Winkler et David M. Halperin) d’un ouvrage collectif de référence : Before Sexuality : The Construction of Erotic Experience in the Ancient Greek World, Princeton, Princeton University Press, 1990.
