Abstract
GP’s well-being is an important element in the attractiveness of the profession and in retaining physicians in their practice. What are the factors that promote physician well-being? The main factors identified so far are the conditions of practice, in terms of a correct workload (neither too much nor too little, reduce administrative aspects), the work-life balance, and sports or recreational activities that punctuate work. However, little attention has yet been paid to other types of factors that more specifically concern the contents of the work performed by GPs and that could, in and of themselves, be a source of job satisfaction and a sense of fulfillment.
