Abstract
(en) We are very pleased to include ‘Post-Truth Politics, Migration and Border Security: Analyzing Political Discourses in the EU’, under the editorship of Karolina Czerska-Shaw and Maciej Stępka, in Routledge’s ‘Current Debates in European Integration’ book series. We see the present volume as offering a degree of continuity to some of our earlier books that we co-edited and in which a few reflections on how to tackle irregular migration and disinformation, respectively, were provided. (...) This volume offers yet another powerful lens for understanding the state of democracy today. It further contributes to the ongoing debates on the resilience of democracy and safeguarding the very foundations of the European integration project.
