What are the meanings of space for human existence? How is it possible to develop a political philosophy based on ‘space’? What are the roles of spatial disciplines (architecture and town planning) for the exercise of political existence? In this study, we tried to demonstrate the thesis of the ontological-political dimension of space (with Martin Heidegger and Hannah Arendt), and then, two analyses of projects of modern political-economical power dominating the urban space (with Michel Foucault and Henri Lefebvre). This study elucidates the roles of architecture and urbanism for human existence.
