Abstract
(en) My analysis will combine the study of essential linguistic characteristics for group identity construction in political discourse and the study of the discursive and political context of these realisations. I focus on three central topics: (1) discourse concerning the position of Spain in international organisations, such as the EU and the UNO, (2) discourse concerning Spain in its relation with Portugal and Iberoamerica in a multilateral context and (3) references to the promotion policy of the Spanish language and culture in the discourse of the Foreign Affairs Secretary.
