- Abstract
- The spirit of the law is not elsewhere than in its letter. Still, to see that, it is necessary not to attach oneself simply to what it says, but to the way it says it. The aim of this article is to show, starting from an ordinary story of gleaning (Lev 23:9-22), how the legislation of the Old Testament binds together inseparably, and thanks to a carefully provided structure, love of God and help for the poor
