- Abstract
- Understanding the processes of (de)socialization, which destabilize and influence, as well as the significance of the cognitive domain in contemporary conflicts, is a crucial task for comprehending today's international dynamics. The absence of literature on the relationship between these two subjects reflects both the novelty of the operational domain concept of human cognition and the concentration of studies on downward socialization. This work seeks to develop the foundations of desocialization and socialization through dispersion processes and to identify how they integrate into the conflicts of the 21st century unfolding in the cognitive domain. To achieve this, our research initially focuses on the case of the People's Republic of China and then, subsequently, on the specific study of Chinese (de)socialization processes directed towards the Belgian population, primarily through the analysis of the Twitter account of the Chinese Embassy in Belgium (@ChinaEmBE) and that of Cao Zhongming, the Chinese Ambassador to Belgium (@ChinaAmbBelgium).
