(en) This concluding chapter presents the main findings of the contributions. The first section examines the financial agencies of the EU and traces the development of agencies like the European Supervisory Authorities and the Single Resolution Board (SRB) over the past decade. It discusses the EU legal framework, the rise of the agencification phenomenon, the Common Approach, and the expansion of the powers of Union agencies and their implications. It also examines key developments in financial markets and the agencies’ relationships with third countries. The second section focuses on the new Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), analysing its structure, powers, and objectives. It explores AMLA’s position within the EU financial agency landscape, its cooperation with national authorities, its governance, its budget, and the innovative measures it introduces globally. Finally, it offers an overview of potential future developments of EU financial agencies.
