Abstract
Developing executable enterprise systems requires integrating domain ontologies, which describe business reality, with task ontologies, which describe business behaviour. This paper investigates the integration of REA² and STREAM to construct a coherent application ontology that combines economic semantics with transaction lifecycle semantics. To validate semantic integrity, we apply Conceptual Graph and Formal Concept Analysis (CGFCA), transforming both models into formal contexts and concept lattices. The resulting integrated lattice bridges expert intuition and explicit knowledge by making structural de- pendencies, symmetries, and ontological commitments visible and amenable to formal analysis. The analysis demonstrates that the semantic structures of both source models are preserved during integration, while also revealing key organ- ising symmetries that contribute to the coherence and elegance of the resulting application ontology. These findings suggest that CGFCA provides not only a mechanism for ontology integration but also a practical means of validating on- tology-weaving decisions. Future work includes embedding the integrated model within the MOVE Framework, which extends Stamper's Semiotic Ladder across multiple dimensions and supports the emergence of autonomous enterprise sys- tems involving both human and AI agents.
