- (en) Today, the evolution of the legal status of religion and religious matters seems to swing between two contradictory approaches. On one hand, this status has become less specific over time, due to the postmodern trivialization of forms of religious life that are made to look like any other individual belief. On the other hand, the legal status of religion is being singled out and religion itself relentlessly branded with a presumption of radicalism. How might religion in law be handled objectively and factually, without perpetuating dually discriminating stereotypes?
