(en) This article seeks to understand evil actions in situation. The first step is to examine the analysis according to which evil acts are caused by a principle of wickedness immanent in the agents. Then, it is necessary to consider the moral judgment on evil acts in order to show their social relativity. From this genealogy of judgment, the article considers that evil acts themselves are relative to the social situation of their agents. How then can the existence of such acts be explained? With the concepts of frame and struggle for recognition, the article seeks to understand the factors and reasons for such acts. To what extent can we consider that the frame is a factor in explaining evil acts? Why are these condemned acts chosen by their agents? The article attempts to provide an interpretation not on the evaluative level (the good or the bad of an action) but on the social level. Finally, in a reflective way, this article seeks to evaluate the content of his approach by bringing to light the limits of the choice of a paradigm of understanding.
