- “Embracing Diversity – with German” is the motto of the International Conference of German Teachers (IDT), which will take place this year in Lübeck, Germany. German as a Foreign Language and German as a Second Language open up numerous perspectives on disciplinary, didactic, cultural, and linguistic diversity. Issue 108 of the IDV Magazine takes up the key questions of IDT 2025 and aims to explore and deepen the concept of diversity from the perspective of DaF and DaZ teaching, addressing its many facets.
