(en) This fifteenth volume of Pictor, a collection published by AFPMA, contains the proceedings of the association's thirty-fifth conference, held in Chartres in 2024. The thirty-three contributions it contains provide an update on research into painted and stucco decorations: recent archaeological discoveries, mainly in Gaul but also in Germania and Hispania, iconographic studies and work on techniques, whether ancient ones or current techniques of study and conservation-restoration. All aspects of Roman painting are thus illuminated in this volume, which once again brings together archaeologists, toichographologists, art historians, conservators-restorers and archaeometrists.
