Abstract
This presentation will explore the key aspects of dyscalculia, including its definition, diagnostic criteria, and the impact it has on both children and adults. We will examine the difficulties found in people suffering from this learning disability and indicate the type of cerebral particularities which have been observed. We will specifically address the question of what is the primary numerical deficit underlying this disorder and explore whether there are subtypes of dyscalculia.
