- Identification and description of an earlier witness of the Rasāʾil Ikhwān al-Ṣafāʾ, MS. Istanbul, Süleymaniye, Esad Efendi 3620, a personal copy of parts of the Rasāʾil dated 548/1153 (the earliest witness known so far is a complete ornated copy dated 578/1182 (MS. Istanbul, Süleymaniye, Atıf Efendi 1681). The note ends on considerations on manuscripts witnessing the co-circulation of the Rasāʾil, with examples dating to the 12th/18th c. (MS. Tehran, Majlis 9469) and to the 7th-8th/13th-14th c. (MS. Tehran, Dānishgāh, Adabiyyāt 90D), where a number of Rasāʾil are copied along texts by Avicenna, Hallaj, and authors linked with the Suhrawardiyya. A last example of co-circulation has to do with a text connected with the Rasāʾil, al-Risāla al-Jāmiʿa, a text copied in Hilla in the middle of the 8th/14th c. in a manuscript already identified by Schmidtke and Pourjavady as an important witness of Ibn Kammūna's oeuvre, MS. Istanbul, Süleymaniye, Esad Efendi 3642. This manuscript witnesses the cross-interests of scholars in the 8th/14th c., from the Jāmiʿa to ʿAbd al-Razzāq Kāshānī's prolegomena to his commentary on the Fuṣūṣ by Ibn al-ʿArabī, Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī, Ibn Muṭaḥḥar al-Ḥillī and Ibn Kammūna, thus combining interests for Avicennan philosophy and logic, Akbarī and ishrāqī schools and post-Avicennan kalām.
