Abstract
In this paper, we consider a cooperative sensing model for automotive urban scenarios studied within a stochastic geometry framework. The street deployment is modelled by means of a Poisson line process and the active roadside units within each street via homogeneous Poisson point processes. The RSUs located in proximity of the typical vehicle cooperate in order to detect it in crossroad and non-crossroad situations, improving the overall sensing performance. Multiple cooperation schemes are analysed. The model is validated thanks to Monte-Carlo simulations.
