(en) From Bricolage to Rhizome: How to account for Heterogeneity of Research Practices in Social Sciences? Going beyond a traditional view of research practice, seen as a succession of linear and formal steps, this article proposes a heterogeneous conception of this practice that articulates both formal and informal as two sides of the same coin. It deals firstly with the concept of bricolage to include the informal in the conceptualization. Then it proposes to envision and discusses practice as a rhizomatic process, through the analysis of a researcher’s account, breaking the apparent linearity of the process.
