(en) In this action research, we question the use of measuring tools designed to analyze the activity of a community and its users when managing active communities on Enterprise Social Networks (ESN). After detailing our dashboard design stages, we observe and analyze the reception of our tool from four ESN managers. Finally, we put these exploratory interviews into perspective regarding the literature on the factors that inhibit or facilitate the emergence of affordances when using ESN on the one hand, the role of metrics in the animation of communities on the other hand.
