Abstract
(en) Based on the observation that many CCO scholars struggle to make explicit the selection process of the communicative events constituting the organisation studied, we propose a methodology based on a narrative approach inspired by Paul Ricœur’s work on mimesis. The narrative is studied for its hermeneutic capacity and more particularly for its capacity to equip the researcher in the selection of communicative events to be analyzed. Our contribution to the CCO is methodological and outlines an approach which, in our opinion, makes explicit a preliminary step necessary to the analysis : the selection of data before their categorisation into “constitutive events”.
