Abstract
This paper is about a marble relief from a public but still unknown monument in Roman Volterra. The marble slab is a find of considerable importance but is practically unpublished. These pages aim to study its iconography depicting instrumenta sacra and to place it within the political and urban panorama of Volaterrae between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD.
