Abstract
The rule of law in the European Union is under threat. A founding value which forms part of the EU’s constitutional identity risks being eroded by undermining judicial independence, not pursuing corruption cases and disregarding judgments of the Court of Justice. This threat calls all Union institutions and Member States to action.
