Abstract
This chapter is a short bibliographic note about Jean Blondel who is a leading French scholar in both English-speaking and French speaking political science. He has had a major contribution in the field of comparative politics—as a student of political parties and governments—as well as in the development of the European political science—as one of the founders of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR).
