Abstract
This coomunication explores the multiple dimensions of wireless channels that are currently under investigation with regard to emerging communication networks. In a first part, various channel sounding techniques will be analyzed for wireless scenarios involving more than link. We detail a number of recent existing experimental results, in particular those achieved within COST 2100 Action. These results will cover both outdoor and indoor environments and provide an overview of the COST 2100 multi-dimensional channel model. Finally, remaining challenges are highlighted.
