A ray-tracing model based on the uniform theory of diffraction is briefly described. A comparison between simulation and experimental results at 12.5 and 30GHz is presented. Since measurements were carried out in winter and late summer, they also highlight the effect of vegetation at these frequencies. Finally, the ray-tracing tool is applied to the characterisation of an urban channel at several frequency bands.
