Abstract
There is a theological problem with the traditional concept of the inspiration of Scriptures. It is a twofold problem: on one hand, the traditional concept of inspiration may lead to an inadequate sense of human possession of the truth; on the other hand, paradoxically, inspiration underlines an idea of the presence of God that tends to erase the presence of the human witness. Attempting to address this twofold problem, this paper intends to inscribe the notion of inspiration in the larger structure of the process of God’s revelation.
