Abstract

A tribute to the late historian and archivist Philippe Annaert and to his commitment towards the preservation of historical and cultural religious heritage in Belgium. His career, his scientific interests as a Church historian (especially the early modern female orders, such as the ursulines), his teaching activities, his work in the field of local history and heritage.
