Abstract
Focusing on comics in Mexican indigeneous languages, the event chaired by Dr Diana Castilleja (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) brings together authors, specialists and publishers in náhuatl, triqui, hñöhñö and mazahua as part of the lines of investigation of the Action’s Working Group 1 (Historical Approach to Iberian Comics’ Cultural Heritage). Participants: Víctor José Palacios Serrano (children’s author and illustrator), José Manuel Hernández Fuentes (author and academic), Jorge Rodríguez Olvera (publisher), Esteban Bartolomé Segundo Romero (author and teacher) and Christian Ortiz Eleno (graphic designer and digital artist).
