- Se propone abordar la escritura autobiográfica desde el enfoque de la autocartografía, donde el espacio predomina sobre el tiempo. En la autocartografía, el acto de trazar mapas, describir lugares, narrar viajes, reflexionar sobre el hogar y establecer conexiones entre espacios y sus habitantes se convierte en una forma de explorar y comunicar la autopercepción y construcción identitaria. Se siguen las propuestas de Westphal, Aínsa y Bachelard y se desplaza el énfasis tradicionalmente puesto en la memoria, el recuerdo, el pasado y el tiempo hacia el espacio. Esta perspectiva espacial abre nuevos caminos para la comprensión de la escritura autobiográfica y autoficticia de las autoras judeo-latinoamericanas. Autobiographical writing is approached through the lens of autocartography, emphasizing the dominance of space over time. Within the framework of autocartography, the act of mapping, describing locations, narrating journeys, reflecting on the concept of home, and establishing connections between spaces and their inhabitants serves as a means to explore and convey self-perception and identity construction. This approach aligns with the ideas put forth by Westphal, Aínsa, and Bachelard, redirecting the conventional focus on memory, recollection, the past, and time towards spatial considerations. Such a spatial perspective offers novel insights into understanding the autobiographical and autofictional works of Jewish-Latin American women authors.
