Abstract
Quentovic has been discovered in the 80’s in the village of La Calotterie, hamlet of Visemarest (Pas-de-Calais, France). Yet, in the forty years since this discovery, 68 sondages, three programmed excavations have been carried out by the University of Manchester and field evaluation and three preventive excavations have been led by the INRAP and Archéopole. This paper aims to give a synthesis of these discoveries.
