Abstract
The transition from high school to higher education can be particularly challenging for students with motor or sensory disabilities. In order to better understand the challenges of this transition, four empirical studies were conducted. The first three are qualitative studies that focus on the experiences of students with disabilities using complementary research designs (retrospective qualitative study, longitudinal case study, comparative focus group study). The last is a collaborative research study that focuses on an intervention to support the vocational guidance of high school students with disabilities. Together, these studies highlight several levers that can promote the inclusion of students with motor or sensory disabilities in higher education.
