- This article provides an overview of recent advances in using learner corpora for materials design (Section 2), language testing and assessment (Section 3) and classroom practice (Section 4). Section 5 highlights some avenues for future research. Section 6 provides an outline and brief summaries of the studies featured in the special issue.
