- (en) This article presents a narrative analysis of the story of the encounter between Elijah and the widow of Zarephta followed by the miracle of flour and oil (1 Kings 17:8 to 16). The narration of this episode highlights the conditions of effectiveness of God’s word through the mediation of the prophet.
