Abstract
(en) Our model is radical in the sense that the model it defends is irreducible to the existing components of our welfare states. It is also radical in the sense that it is meant to generate a deep transformation in the work sphere. But it is not radical to the extent that it is willing to accommodate gradual progress and compromises that stem from a plurality of legitimate objectives. It also fails to be radical in the sense that, for the time being, it concerns chiefly the national level and therefore does not address the most massive injustice, which is global. Hence, our proposal is meant to be reasonably radical. At the same time, being anchored in a freedom-friendly left perspective, it claims to be radically reasonable.
