L’enfant-individu et ses troubles à l’âge de l’autonomie normative
(en) The article distinguishes three contemporary representations of the child: the deficient child whose will (abnormal or undisciplined) is to be corrected, then from the 40’s to the 80’s, the figure of the expressive child carried by psychoanalysis, finally, the actor and handicapped child, promoted by cognitive neuroscience. These three figures constitute the different parameters of the ideal of hidden potential applied to children. They constitute different ways of defining disorders, their origins, their meanings and the solution to be brought to them. Finally, the article shows how they can meet in the approach in terms of "psychosocial skills".
