- (en) We propose to study the relationship between cartographic practices and the writing residency organised at the Lac de Grand-Lieu, near Nantes. We will compare several literary projects (François Bon, Hélène Gaudy, Virginie Gautier, Anne Savelli). We will show that, for these aesthetics, the limits to perception imposed by a lake with undecidable contours both impede and sustain a cartographic representation. We will explore this hypothesis in greater depth by analysing the living, repopulated and geological map written by Hélène Gaudy in Grands Lieux (2017).
