Abstract
The 50th session of the Colloquium Biblicum Lovaniense (2001) was devoted to the biblical canons. After a brief introduction, Auwers (pp. 525-530) reports (in French) on the main papers on the canons of the OT (by A. van der Kooij, E. Ulrich, J. Lust, E. Zenger, and G. Dorival), describes the seminars and 'offered papers,' and comments on major topics. Then de Jonge (pp. 530-537) treats (in English) the major papers on the canons of the NT (by T. Söding, G. Stanton, J. Zumstein, A. Lindemann, J. Schröter, and J. Verheyden), the seminars, and short papers, and also notes their convergences on several points.--D.J.H.
