Results on the temperature variation of the thermal conductivity and the thermopower of CuCl/sub 2/-intercalated benzene-derived carbon fibres are reported and discussed. The lattice thermal conductivity, which is separated from the electronic term, reveals an extra contribution in the lowest temperature range. The thermopower is similar to that observed on other intercalated highly oriented pyrolytic graphite.
