Abstract
I present my postdoctoral research project, which focuses on the representations contained in the handwritten lecture notebooks produced in the universities of the Southern Netherlands (17th-18th centuries). The particularity of the illustrated notebooks is to be situated at the crossroads between multiple scopes of investigation, such as the aspect of the visualization of science, the study of emblematic production, the field of history of universities.
