- Faced with the impossibility of reflecting on the social protection of tomorrow in the grammar of yesterday's world, it is necessary to resort to new sources of inspiration, and relevant to draw on ecofeminist thinking (Part 1). Eco-feminism has postulated since the early 1970s that land degradation and the persistence of patriarchy are framed into common logics and are consubstantial to productivism, which calls for a reconsideration of the fundamentals of social protection, as conceived in the 20th century, in order to build the main features of "climate compatible" social protection systems (Part 2). To understand ecofeminist thinking, the text, which constitutes the first phase of a more ambitious research project, is based mainly on literature reviews .
