Abstract
This note is a summary description of the set of scholars and literati who taught at the Universitas Lovaniensis, commonly referred to as the University of Louvain or University of Leuven, from its inception in the 15th century to its abolishment in 797 following the cession to the French Republic of the Austrian Low Countries.
