(en) The revision of the Belgian Constitution instituted on May 5th 1993 established an authentic federal state. It is the opportunity to recall that certain crises affecting Belgium (parliamentary crisis, identity crisis, financial crisis) were brought about by the Constitution itself. – Thanks to rationalized institutions and the creation of a real federal state, the new Constitution provides for procedures and institutional machinery able to provide the state with conditions of new stability
