Abstract
The aim of this article is not to answer a research question but to allow further researches by settling an actualized Text-Based Computer Mediated Communication Environment Qualification based on 3 relevant criteria: Communication Function, Communication Type and Response Type. This classification considers new environments and new possibilities of interaction raised from Internet Technological developments to highlight environment Communication and technological specificities and provide a strong theoretical basis in areas such as pragmatic and sociolinguistic where the context of production has a central part.
