(en) TO THE EDITOR, We read with great interest the article by Ricardo Munoz-Acuna et al., which retrospectively compared conventional ventilation with high frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) during catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (CAAF). The authors identified an increased duration of recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) and increased incidences of arterial hypotension and arterial hypocarbia in the HFJV arm.
