Abstract
This article offers a translation into English of Walter Hilton's Epistola de leccione, intencione, meditacione, oracione et aliis. It is prefaced by a discussion of Hilton's works, and the place of his Latin Epistles in his oeuvre, which is primarily written in Middle English. As the Latin works are not easily available, this translation is a first in the project of publishing all the Latin texts in a modern English translation.
