Abstract
A novel method involving the Zeeman effect is used to directly measure the alignment correlation term in the beta decay of /sup 12/B, /sup 12/B rarr beta +/sup 12/C. The approach is reminiscent of the direct measurements of the lepton g-factor anomaly. The results indicate that the weak magnetism form factor is basically compensated by the weak electricity form factor.
